The brief was to take a disused concrete farmyard and create a design rich in habitat for wildlife, and a place for the client to garden and relax in. The concrete was crushed and reused on site to create a low nutrient garden, with further areas added, including a woodland border and a gravel garden. All materials on site were repurposed, so nothing went to landfill.
